Event Host: Sports and Society Initiative
The Sports and Society Initiative will welcome Jacki Windon as its featured guest at its February Huddle. Jacki is assistant director of membership services at the Ohio High School Athletic Association. OHSAA provides educational opportunities for students through participation in interscholastic athletics programs while also providing leadership and support for member school administrators and coaches and contest officials.
Students are invited to join Jacki for conversation and pizza, with the chance to learn more about career opportunities in sports administration and league support.
Jacki's other duties include: member school sport participation cards; sanctioning; diversity council; scholar-athlete scholarships; new administrators workshop; Harold A. Meyer Award, Archie Griffin Awards; sportsmanship; ethics and integrity program; member school applications; school database maintenance; mailing labels and lists; and town hall meetings. She also serves as a color analyst for MAC Men's and Women's College Basketball.
