Event Host: STEAM Factory
Niles Johnson, Department of Mathematics, presents"Higher-dimensional symmetry".He gives visual representations of symmetry in 4 dimensions using a mathematical structure known as the Hopf fibration. Through video and still images, he illustrate ways that 4-dimensional symmetry is like and unlike 3-dimensional symmetry. Applications to 8-dimensional symmetry will also be available.
The Market at 400 W. Rich is a bi-weekly event that features local artists, vendors, entrepreneurs and much more. At these markets, The STEAM Factory showcases STEAM members and their research.
