The exhibition will be open from Monday, March 9 to Friday, April 17. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hopkins Hall Gallery is located at 128 N. Oval Mall. There will be a reception on Thursday, April 2 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The jury committee is made up from all seven emphasis areas from the major: scuplture, glass, art & technology, printmaking, photography, painting & drawing and ceramics. A wide variety of scholarships will be awarded, including some that are area specific and others open to any art major. "One of the best things about the awards is that it connects the students in a very direct way to the faculty, alumni and friends that have donated to make these awards possible; it is a giving back and a paying forward. The award ceremony and the show are a celebration of that connection," said Rebecca Harvey, interim chair of the Department of Art. For more information, visit the Hopkins Hall Gallery website.
