2016 Wind & Stream: Sungkyu Chris Lee Korean Performance Series

Event Host: Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures
The second annual Korean performance event incorporates comic and satiric talchum, a Korean mask dance tradition. Special guest performers include Professor Chung Heoi-Chun of Jeonbuk University, nationally acclaimed master of kayageum and pansori drumming, Kim Tae-Hoon, senior dancer/choreographer at the National Gugak Center, the Noori Mahroo, Ohio Korean percussion group led by Professor Choi Jinsob of Wright State University, and pansori by Eun Su Kim, director of Washington Sorichung. Directed by Professor Chan E. Park.Free and open to all by RSVP only as limited seating is available.
