Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is an interdisciplinary curricular program designed to provide participants with the understanding, knowledge and skills to navigate increasingly diverse social environments and promote equity in the process.
This is a 12-credit undergraduate certificate open to:
- Degree-seeking undergraduate students at Ohio State

Translation and Interpretation
The need for interpreters and translators isn’t going away. Globalization and a population surge in non-English-speaking people in the United States is slated to drive employment growth — as much as 19% through 2028, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Through the Translation and Interpretation certificate program, you can specialize in one of three areas: professional translation, literary translation and community interpretation. You’ll be able to apply your skills by working with government agencies, schools, courts and community partners as part of a practicum. And when you complete the program, you’ll be able to serve your community in ways we haven’t done before.
This certification is open to any current Ohio State undergraduate student pursuing a major or minor in a world language.
