The College of Arts and Sciences has compiled a series of online presentations and resources that can supplement your in-person activities as you transition to Ohio State. These resources can be viewed before you arrive or once you’ve had a chance to settle in and begin your studies.
Funding
To ensure graduate students can focus on their studies, our divisions offer competitive funding in the form of fellowships and associateships. While fellowships allow sole focus on academic or scientific research, associateships allow students to assist faculty with research, instruct undergraduates and aid with instruction.
Awards
Each year, graduate students demonstrating distinguished service, diversity enhancement or teaching excellence are nominated by faculty, staff or fellow graduate students to receive Graduate Student Awards. Each award includes a commemorative plaque and a $1,000 scholarship.
