The Arts and Sciences Dean's Student Advisory Board advises the College of Arts and Sciences Dean on matters pertaining to students such as academics, communication, activities, student life and college relations. 

The Board consists of 12 undergraduate students and three graduate students pursuing an arts and sciences degree. Each of the College of Arts and Sciences divisions is represented. The three divisions are Natural and Mathematical Sciences (NMS), Arts and Humanities (A&H) and Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS).

Board membership includes:

  • Six at-large undergraduates serving two-year terms. Two students from each division are selected via application.
  • Three undergraduates serving one-year terms. One student from each division is appointed by the Arts and Sciences Student Council.
  • Three undergraduates serving one-year terms. One student from each division is appointed by Undergraduate Student Government.
  • One at-large graduate student who holds a position as a GTA, GRA or GAA, serving a two-year term. A student from any division is selected via application.
  • Two graduate students serving one-year terms. Students from two different divisions are appointed by the Council of Graduate Students.
