Co-hosted with the Medieval and Renaissance Graduate Student Association, the first lecture in the CMRS annual lecture series features Dr. Seeta Chaganti (UC Davis). Presented as part of MRGSA's Fall Symposium, "Bodies in Motion," Dr. Chaganti's talk, "Sidestepping: Race, Blackface, and the History of Morris Dance Scholarship” speaks not only to the Symposium's focus on "bodies in motion" but also to receptions of the Middle Ages and the migration of medieval cultural traditions.
