The South Asian Studies Initiative (SASI), the Department of Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGSS), and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) at Ohio State are pleased to invite you to a lecture and workshop with Debanuj DasGupta, assistant professor at the University of Connecticut. The lecture will examine the conflating of religious rhetoric and constitutional modernity in the legal deliberations related to Trandgender/Hijra/Koti/Khawaj Sira (THKK) communities in Pakistan and India.
