Ohio State Dance presents a concert of works by a guest artist and faculty, including:

A new work by Israel Institute Visiting Artist Alon Karniel inspired by Erik Satie’s Vexations, a mysterious, one-page musical work bearing the inscription: “To play this motif 840 times in succession, it would be advisable to prepare oneself beforehand, in the deepest silence, by serious immobilities.” Shuttling between theme and variation, the music creates an environment where time becomes elastic and in whose stream the subtleties of experience emerge.
