Event Host: School of Music
Featuring David Maslanka's "Symphony No. 10: The River of Time" and Kenneth Hesketh's "Danceries." With guest composer and artist-in-residence Matthew Maslanka, conductors Onsby C. Rose and Russel C. Mikkelson. Rose will conduct the consortium premiere of Maslanka's symphony as his final DMA recital.
At 7:30 p.m. Matthew Maslanka will present a pre-concert talk on his father David's final work, Symphony No. 10, which was completed by Matthew.
