Join us to kick off Homecoming weekend by joining alumni, friends and current film students for a screening of Kill the Irishman. Following the reception and screening, there will be a moderated discussion featuring the film’s producer and Ohio State alumnus Tommy Reid. In addition to this program, visitors are invited to arrive earlier in the evening for a talk with writer Canisia Lubrin and Ohio State Associate Professor and Director of Creative Writing Marcus Jackson. Additionally, you can hear from Associate Professor Erica Levin on October 3 as she discusses her new book The Channeled Image: Art and Media Politics after Television. Then, on October 4, celebrate the return of Cinéseries—a program organized by Ohio State students—with a screening of Purple Sea, followed by a group discussion.
