Time: 12-1 p.m.

Short Description: This panel will discuss the distinctive challenges of research concerning gender and sexual minorities, including the risks of research fatigue, prioritization of research, stigma, trust, and community empowerment.

This is a welcome change that increases research attention and possible funding opportunities to work with LGBTQI communities. However more research opportunities do not necessarily translate to better research. This panel will discuss the distinctive challenges of research concerning gender and sexual minorities, including the risks of research fatigue, prioritization of research, stigma, trust and community empowerment.
