Short Description: This will be an informal presentation on the process of animal cloning and how the process is performed, and how it is being utilized today. The presentation will include discussion on uses of cloned animals in commercial livestock as well as the increasing trend in companion animals.

Speaker:  Erin Runcan, Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine
Runcan currently serves as an assistant clinical professor in Theriogenology and Reproductive Medicine at The OSU College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in 2010 prior to her residency training in Theriogenology at the University of Florida. Dr. Runcan is a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists and is a member of the Society for Theriogenology. Dr. Runcan has a special interest in canine and equine reproduction and perinatology.
