 The Ohio State University presents Black and Blue: The Story of Willis Ward, Gerald Ford, and the 1934 Michigan-Georgia Tech Game.Black and Blue is the fifth documentary by Emmy nominated filmmakers, Brian Kruger and Buddy Moorehouse. Production began production during Black History Month of 2011, and was completed in November of the same year. Filmed on locations in Detroit, Washington DC, Grand Rapids, and Grosse Pointe. It is shipped in Consumer Edition and an Education Edition that includes bonus material such as lesson plans, and a study guide. It also includes a 244 page eBook, “When Jim Crow Came to the Big House” written by doctoral candidate, Tyran Steward, who also appears in the film.
