Alumni Lindsay Blackburn, LSW (Social work 2007). She is the Community Engagement Manager and Volunteer Coordinator for the Gladden House. Gladden Community House is a settlement house serving Franklinton and its surrounding neighborhoods. They are a United Way affiliated non-profit agency providing education and recreation programs, emergency assistance, and advocacy and support for individuals, families, and groups. Lindsay will discuss Gladden Community House programs and services as well as available volunteer opportunities. She will share with with students how programming has changed or shifted as pandemic evolves. She will also discuss how to engage with the community while staying close to home.
