Color Separation Collage! is a 4-hour workshop that introduces the risograph printing method of CMYK and collage.
Participants will become familiar with the process of CMYK color separation and how the risograph lends itself to the photographic image. The addition of the hand-worked elements within their compositions will allow each participant to explore how the combinations of digital and analog rendering can expand upon their chosen subject matter.
Participants will produce a small edition of their work, gain a basic understanding of Photoshop and risograph software, and learn how to design an image for multicolor registration and printing.
