DIGITAL MEDIA IN A SOCIAL WORLD
February 19-20, 2010

PROGRAM, REGISTRATION

Friday/Day 1: FREE and open only to Ohio State community

We'll feature 45-minute, interactive presentations to explore topics that include:

  • creative uses of social media
  • new philosophies of technology use
  • innovative technologies for classroom instruction
  • marketing with Facebook

During the mid-day session (11:30 a.m., includes lunch), we’ll hear from university leaders and will have time to socialize and view exhibits from sponsoring organizations and companies.

Saturday/Day 2: FREE and open to Digital media community

There will be a full-day of sessions and events that focus on digital and social media.

Lunch will be provided at a mid-day session (11:30 a.m.) that features keynote speakers Distinguished Humanities Professor Cindy Selfe; Professor H. Lewis Ulman; Digital Media Scholar Cheryl Ball from Illinois State University; and Angelo Mandato, Creator and Director of PodCamp Ohio.
