From ancient campfires to contemporary homes, dogs have not only been companions, protectors, and loyal friends, but they’ve also played a crucial role in helping humans cultivate compassion for one another. The Dog Project is a powerful series of interconnected stories that explore the profound impact dogs have on the lives of people facing PTSD, disabilities, incarceration, loneliness, and grief. The Dog Project shares real-life narratives of dogs helping their human counterparts forge deeper connections and discover common ground through empathy, humor, and the healing power of tail-wagging joy.
