Urban Arts Space's City Center Gallery presents An Educated Guess: Cosmic Slop, an exhibition featuring the work of Luke Ahern.
In science, an educated guess is an inference based upon research and experimentation. Unlike research that is based on finding truth, An Educated Guess shows a kind of research focused on the process of encountering visual information and material culture in life. The work materials that are presented are not intended to prove or show answers, but instead show a heightened awareness of material and space while exploring the blurred line between art and life.
To celebrate the exhibition, a reception will be held at Urban Art Space's City Center Gallery on Thursday, July 31, 2014, 5:30-7:30PM. Light refreshments will be provided.
