2010 Teaching Orientation @ Ohio State

This is an orientation designed specifically for faculty and GTAs at The Ohio State University. Most sessions are facilitated by members of faculty or senior GTAs; other sessions are larger panel discussions. The orientation is designed to reduce anxieties you might have, provide techniques and strategies for effective teaching, and suggest resources for further assistance.
In conjunction with the Office of Academic Affairs, faculty will have opportunities to attend some sessions specifically designed to meet the needs of those who are new to Ohio State. Other sessions will allow for opportunities to meet with new faculty and new GTAs.
In some cases, GTAs' departments have recommendations or requirements about which sessions to attend. For more information on which sessions are most appropriate for you, please contact your department.
