Professors Dani ReStack, Suzanne Silver and Amy Youngs examine how art and the everyday intersect through their converging and contrasting interdisciplinary practices.
Restack will share drawings and video that highlight the connection between vulnerability and resilience. Silver will show drawings, videos, photograms, and installations in real space that explore the materiality of language and its ambiguities. Youngs will share projects that use art, technology, and participation to celebrate the worms, insects, and plants our lives rely upon.
All three work with ideas of ephemerality, loss, joy, memory, precarity, and resistance.
