Gary King, Albert J. Weatherhead III University Professor at Harvard University, will speak on "Reverse-Engineering Censorship in China" at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 at the Mershon Center for International Security Studies, 1501 Neil Ave. in room 120. King is director of the Institute for Qualitative Social Science, which develops empirical methods in social science research from statistical theory to practical application.  He will discuss the footprint left by Chinese censorship of social media.
