Event Host: ASC Career Success
The Department of Sociology, along with the Center for Career and Professional Success, are hosting Life Beyond Degree: Sociology and Criminology-an event where you will have the opportunity to interact virtually with alumni who’ve been in your shoes and who are eager to connect with you!
Join us for our LBD event where we will discuss the first steps of your career and you will have the opportunity to meet with Alumni from the Department of Sociology and learn how their degrees got them to where they are now.
Panelists Include:
- Steve Mason, Chief Executive Officer, Medical Segment- Cardinal Health
- Charles W. Noble III, Esq., Chief Of Staff, Assistant Attorney General at Columbus State Community College
- Becca Kanz, Assistant Attorney General at Ohio Attorney General's Office
- Kasey Komjati, Probation Officer at Franklin County
- Claire Miolene, Trial Preparation Assistant at Manhattan District Attorney's Office
In our session, you will have the opportunity to learn networking strategies and learn how Career Success can help you prepare for your career.
The second portion of the session is where we will turn to our Alumni panelists. They will give us insight into how they used their first steps to their advantage. They will also share their stories on how they used the experiences they gained while at OSU and transitioned those into everyday life.
