The Center for Folklore Studies will host two Ohio Field School information sessions: Thursday, September 28, 4 - 5 pm and Monday, October 30 from 6 - 7 pm, both in 198 Hagerty Hall. Ohio Field School (a course offered SP24), offers collaborative, experiential ethnography in service to grassroots community organizations in Appalachian Ohio. Students will spend the week of spring break in southeast Ohio, working with community partners on collaborative, documentary projects. Attendance at one info session is required to enroll in the course.
