Short Description: The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC), located on Ohio State’s west campus, will serve as a satellite location for an XSEDE HPC MPI workshop.


The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC), located on Ohio State’s west campus, will serve as a satellite location for an XSEDE HPC MPI workshop from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 9 and Feb. 10. This workshop is intended to give C and Fortran programmers a hands-on introduction to MPI programming. Both days are compact to accommodate multiple time zones. Attendees will leave with a working knowledge of how to write scalable codes using MPI. This workshop is NOT available via a webcast. XSEDE, the National Science Foundation’s Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment, is the most advanced, powerful and robust collection of integrated digital resources and services in the world.
