Join us as current and former members of Ohio State’s The Lantern and Michigan’s The Michigan Daily join forces to discuss the 2024 edition of "The Game" and connect on the importance of student journalism. This webinar supports the annual Rivalry Edition jointly created by both student newspapers.Both schools use this as an opportunity to fundraise to support their independent journalism. The printed edition, is distributed in both Columbus and Ann Arbor to preview the game.Use the button below to register for the event.Register nowOhio State Panelists: John Keim, an Ohio State graduate, covers the NFL’s Washington Commanders for ESPN, where he contributes to ESPN.com’s NFL Nation through blogs and videos. He is a regular contributor to ESPN radio and television shows, including SportsCenter and Outside the Lines. He has covered the Commanders for several outlets, including the Washington Examiner and the Washington Post. He’s also worked as a Washington correspondent for Pro Football Weekly, the Sporting News and CBS Sports. Keim is a native of Lakewood, Ohio, and currently lives in Berryville, Va., with his wife and three sons.  Samuel Cipriani is the Assistant Sports Editor of The Lantern. He is a senior pursuing a dual degree in journalism and sports industry at Ohio State. Growing up in an athletic family, Sam fell in love with sports at a young age, particularly having a passion for basketball. He also interns as a podcasting host for “The Intersection” in Ohio State’s Sports and Society Initiative as well working as a freelancer writer for his hometown newspaper, the Clintonville and Worthington Spotlight  Noah Weiskopf is the sports editor of The Lantern and a senior journalism major at Ohio State. He is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up around sports, which led to his career choice. In 2019, Noah began covering the Cleveland Browns, and he realized that covering football was his passion. When he isn't covering football, Noah is watching the Cleveland Guardians and Cavaliers or spending time with his friends. Michigan Panelists: Scott Bell is a 2008 University of Michigan graduate. During his time on campus, he served as the Managing Sports Editor, columnist and football writer for The Michigan Daily. His four-year window at the paper included Michigan's 11-0 start in 2006 that led to a Rose Bowl trip, the softball team's national title run in 2005 and yes -- that dreaded Appalachian State game. He currently serves as the Senior Editor for Newsroom Metrics & Planning for the Dallas Morning News. Prior to that, he spent two years leading The News' award-winning breaking news team. He also previously was a part of The News' sports management team for 12 years.  Noah Kingsley is one of The Michigan Daily's Managing Sports Editors and is currently a member of the football beat. He is a senior at Michigan studying Data Science and Economics. He has previously covered men's basketball, hockey and softball for for the magazine.    Rekha Leonard is The Michigan Daily's co-Managing Sports Editor and currently on the football beat. She has previously covered ice hockey and softball for The Daily.
