UCAT: Student Learning 101

Are you ever at a loss to help your students learn? Do they seem focused on trivial information rather than the “big picture” of the lesson? Join UCAT for “Student Learning 101” on Tuesday (10/16) from 2:30–4 p.m. in 150 Younkin Success Center. Gain an understanding of the general principles of learning and how they relate to student behavior in the classroom. We will explore the differences between the learning strategies of students and teachers and discuss how to better help students become independently engaged in their own learning.
