Over the past decade, almost 7.8 Venezuelans have left their home country. A significant majority—more than 6.6 million—have ended up in Latin America, while an estimated 700,000 have reached the US. In this virtual talk, Khalea Robertson will explore the current situation regarding Venezuelan migration policy in the Americas, and the different challenges this population encounters as they try to establish themselves in countries such as Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and the U.S.
