ASC 2021 Quantitative & Data Career Expo (In Person)

The Quantitative & Data Career Expo is an AMAZING event that will be held both in-person and virtually in early September, as the FIRST Career Fair of the year at The Ohio State University! The event is open to all current OSU students and recent graduates. It provides an opportunity for you to network with employers and learn about internship and career opportunities. The event is co-sponsored by Big Data & Analytics Association. STUDENT REGISTRATION will open on AUGUST 9th at 8:00 am ET.

Attending industry partners will be primarily interested in students with data, technology, and analytical skill sets and are interested in chatting with students from the following majors, in particular: Computer & Information Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, GIS, Physics, and Statistics. All students, however, are welcome as we know that many majors provide curriculum that enhances students knowledge in these areas, such as Business Analytics, Bioinformatics, and Engineering.

Advanced research via Handshake is recommended to determine if a particular employer of interest will be in attendance and a good fit for your career advancement. You can also make an appointment via Handshake with a Career Coach to get assistance on your resume, pitch, and interviewing skills.

Bring the following when you attend the in-person event:

  • Current Students: A valid BuckID is required to enter the fair on the day of the event.
  • Recent Graduates: We welcome you to the event and request that you drop off a copy of your resume at the registration desk upon arrival

This event is presented in partnership with BDAA, a student organization that aims to inspire students to think analytically, empower them through hands on training, and connect them to potential employers:
