Short Description: In cooperation with the Magma Poetry journal, this exciting event is the result of a project to put environmental scientists and poets in conversation. Poets and scientists were paired up to discuss environmental issues, and then poets have written work in response to those conversations.


In cooperation with the Magma Poetry journal, this exciting event is the result of a project to put environmental scientists and poets in conversation. Poets and scientists were paired up to discuss environmental issues, and then poets have written work in response to those conversations. This event will feature three pairings from the project:

  • Kathy Fagan and Lauren Pintor
  • Rosebud-Ben Oni & Zakee Sabree
  • Ruth Awad & Kerry Ard

The poets and scientists will present a discussion of important environmental and ethical issues, and the poets will read their poems.
