The ESC of Central Ohio is hiring students and alumni to serve with AmeriCorps in one of three programs, all working to improve student outcomes from grades K-12. For each program, our Members receive extensive training (3 weeks) in September, then serve 30 hours/week at a school from October through the end of the school year. Each program requires 30 hours per week. Members receive a stipend of $800 per month, plus an education award of $3,059 for student loans or tuition.

Our positions are:

  • Reading tutor for K-3 students
  • Math tutor for K-5 students
  • Mentor for students grades 5-12

The Zoom meeting will include a 20-30 minute overview of the program details (via screen share), followed by an open question and answer period.
