Pets for Vets at Ohio State  is hosting its first ever Mutt Strut, a Community dog walk/run, Sunday, Oct. 29, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Scioto Audubon Metro Park in downtown Columbus. This year's theme will be Halloween! As such, all participants (dog + human) will have the opportunity to dress up in costume and trick or treat along a one mile course and/or a 5K length course. Prizes will be given to our best dressed pup, best dressed person and best dressed pup and owner combination. In addition to the walk/run and costume contest, there will be two food trucks: The Tasty Good (chicken fingers) and The Barkery (dog treats), water bottles provided, raffle baskets, and booths set up by local animal-welfare or Veteran related organizations to check out.  Tickets are $20 (price increase on 10/8) and each ticket purchase includes an event T-shirt as well as a bag full of freebies. 100% of all funds raised go to Pets for Vets.
