As part of Virtual Week, YOU can chat with a career coach from the comfort of home, and get information about selecting career communities, finding resources, and basic employer interactions! Get Started We run the Career Success Quick Chat via CarmenZoom’s dedicated chat tool that can only be accessed via the desktop and mobile app, not the browser based version. So, if this is your first time using the Career Success Quick Chat or CarmenZoom, you will need to download Zoom. Download “Zoom Client for Meetings” from Zoom.us/download, if you’re on a computer. If you’re using a phone or tablet, download the “Zoom Cloud Meetings” app from the Apple store or Google Play depending on your operating system. Once downloaded, you will see the main welcome screen with the option to “Join a Meeting” or “Sign In”. Click on “Sign In.” On the following screen select “Sign In with SSO” on the top of the right column. On the next page, enter “osu” into the domain box and hit continue. You will then be directed to the standard OSU SSO page. Enter in your name.# and password to access Zoom. To access the chat feature select “Chat” from the top navigation bar. Then enter in asccareer@osu.edu into the “Jump To” bar in the top left. Congratulations, you’re now set to chat with a coach!  This service is open to all Arts and Sciences Students and will be particularly beneficial to those in these Career Communities: Career Communities help you discover new career paths, inform you of community-specific networking events, and exciting ways to become career ready!  Join as many as you’d like.  Log into Handshake, select “Career Interests” from your account drop-down menu, and identify the Career Communities that interest you! This program contributes to the development of these Career Readiness Competencies: Career Management VIRTUAL College of Arts and Sciences asccomm@osu.edu America/New_York public
