Three Arts and Sciences faculty members have been selected by Ohio State’s Office of Academic Affairs to participate as fellows in the Committee on Institutional Cooperation’s (CIC) Academic Leadership Program. The CIC is a consortium of the Big Ten universities, plus the University of Chicago. The purpose of the ALP is to develop leadership and managerial skills of faculty who have demonstrated exceptional ability and academic promise.

Elizabeth A. Marschall is a professor in the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology. Her research combines field studies, laboratory studies, and models to address the response of animal populations to climate change, invasive species, and other human-induced stressors, often with applications to fishery management.

James Peck is a professor in the Department of Economics. His research has contributed to our understanding of uncertainty and asymmetric information in markets, including bank runs, price bubbles, destructive competition, and information cascades. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Economic Theory.

Barbara Wyslouzil is a professor in the William G. Lowrie Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and in the Department of Chemistry. She teaches courses in the Freshman Engineering Program as well as in chemistry and chemical engineering. Her research encompasses a broad range of topics in aerosol science including the fundamental aerosol physics problems of nucleation, growth, and droplet structure, as well as more applied research.
