Arts and Sciences GAs Sweep the GATA!

Eight Arts and Sciences graduate associates were selected for Ohio State’s Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA), the university’s highest recognition of exceptional teaching provided by graduate students. Approximately 3,000 graduate students teach as graduate teaching associates at Ohio State each year, and 10 are honored as GATA winners by the university community. Each winner receives a $1,500 award.

This year's winners are: Monali Chowdhury, Psychology; Melissa Doran, Spanish and Portuguese; Leigh Fine, Sociology; Matt Foulds, History; Courtney Harris, Dance; DJ Hovermale, Linguistics; Katherine Parker, English; and Spencer Robinson,Slavic Languages;

The GATA award is in its 39th year.
