The Nonprofit Management minor, administered by the Glenn College of Public Affairs has three goals, which provide an interdisciplinary set of knowledge and skills needed to work in the nonprofit sector:

1. Students will be able to articulate the theories and practices that shape political, organizational, economic, and technological environments of nonprofit organizations.

2. Students will be able to analyze nonprofit management dilemmas from a strategic perspective, grounded in an awareness of nonprofit laws, standards and best practices.

3. Students will be able to apply their learning in professional nonprofit settings, utilizing appropriate written and oral communication skills. (NONPROFT-MN)
