Join the Department of Mathematics as it welcomes Michel Talagrand, former Ohio State Department of Mathematics instructor and recipient of the Abel Prize for 2024. The Abel Prize has been described as the equivalent of the Nobel and we are so proud of his achievement.

The afternoon will feature a public lecture titled “Mysteries in High Dimension” given by Talagrand, with a reception with hors d’oeuvres and light refreshments immediately following in his honor.
