The Ohio State University Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Lab Big Band and Jazz Workshop present an opening concert to kick off High School Honor Jazz Band Weekend for student participants and their families. Mike Smith (Jazz Ensemble), Chris Anderson (Jazz Lab), Kristopher Keith (Jazz Workshop), conductors.

High school musicians from Ohio and beyond are selected based on jazz band directors' nominations, to attend this weekend of high-level music making which culminates in finale performances by the honor jazz bands on Sunday afternoon, September 29.

The High School Honor Jazz Band Weekend concerts are free and open to the public. No ticket required.
