AAEP Graduate Student Receives Imagining America Fellowship

Hyunju Kim

Hyunju Kim, graduate student, arts administration, education and policy, has been selected as a recipient of an Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life/Joy of Giving Something, Inc. $2,000 fellowship award. Imagining America is a national consortium that emphasizes the partnership between scholars, artists and the community. Kim has also been invited to attended the Imagining America national conference in October.

“I am honored to be a fellow of Imagining America,” said Kim. “This fellowship award will allow me to develop my digital art making project with refugee youth in Columbus. As a PhD student with my interest in refugee and immigrant community, this fellowship means more than an award. I am thrilled to be in a great network with those who have similar passion.”
