Arts and Sciences Graduate Associates Win Top Teaching Award
Arts and Sciences graduate associates took nine out of ten Graduate Associate Teaching Awards (GATA) — Ohio State's highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students.
The winners are: Kristin Edwards, Psychology; Man He, East Asian Languages and Literatures; Karin Hooks, English; Timothy Jensen, English; Kristen Jeppsen, Dance; Jared List, Spanish and Portuguese; Glene Mynhardt, Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology; Colin Stephensen, History; and Brandon Sullivan, Biochemistry.
Nominations for the Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA) are solicited from students, peers, faculty and staff. A $1500 award is given to the GATA recipients along with a plaque and a letter of recognition from the Dean of the Graduate School. The GATA winners will be formally recognized at the Graduate School Awards Reception at the Ohio State University Faculty Club.
