Climate Change on Great Lakes Fishes WEBINAR, April 19, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., featuring: Stu Ludsin, assistant professor, Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, The Ohio State University

This webinar will provide information about expected impacts of climate change on Great Lakes fish communities, how interactions between climate change and other human-caused stressors may drive unanticipated change in Great Lakes fish production, and needed information gaps that will improve our ability to forecast the response of fish communities to climate change.

Stuart Ludsin is assistant professor in the Aquatic Ecology Laboratory at The Ohio State University’s Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology. He is a member of the Great Lakes Fishery Commission’s Board of Technical Experts and previously worked as a Fisheries Research Biologist with the NOAA’s Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory. His research explores mechanisms that regulate fish population and community dynamics in Great Lakes, estuarine, coastal ocean, and inland reservoir ecosystems and applies this ecological understanding to resource management problems.
