Kathleen McGraw Named SBS Associate Dean
Kathleen McGraw, professor of political science, will join the Social and Behavioral Sciences as associate dean effective July 1, 2010.
Dr. McGraw’s work focuses on political psychology, public opinion, and experimental methodology. She has published articles in the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics and other leading journals, and is a member of several editorial boards. Her current research focuses on individual and institutional accountability; the role of value conflict in the expression of public opinion; and cognitive processes in political judgment.
McGraw earned her PhD in social psychology from Northwestern University. She joined the department of political science at Ohio State in 1998 as a professor. In 2006, McGraw was selected for the Joan N. Huber Faculty Fellow Award in recognition of her first-rate scholarship.
