Six of the Best: External Fellowships for Arts & Humanities Faculty
In 2010-2011, several faculty in Arts & Humanities will be teaching and conducting research abroad and across the United State, as the result of their success in fellowship competitions. Congratulations to all on this richly-deserved recognition for their outstanding work!
- Tanya Erzen, Associate Professor of Comparative Studies, will be a member of the faculty at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey.
- Mytheli Sreenivas, Assistant Professor in the Departments of History and Women’s Studies, has received a fellowship from the American Institute of Indian Studies.
- Ruby Tapia, Associate Professor of Comparative Studies, will be a fellow at the Institute for the Humanities at the University of Michigan.
- Naomi Brenner, Assistant Professor in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, has received a fellowship from the Yad Hanadiv/Keren Beracha (Rothschild) Foundation, Israel.
- Gregory Jusdanis, Humanities Distinguished Professor of Greek & Latin, has won a fellowship from the American Council of Learned Societies for 2010-2011.
- Karen Eliot, Professor of Dance, will be studying at the Houghton Library in Harvard University.
