Arts and Sciences students were busy; traveling, learning, exploring
Michael Eizyk, International Relations/Diplomacy, Spanish; lived in Jerusalem and took courses at Hebrew University, thanks to a Mershon Center scholarship
Donnie Evege, Strategic Communications; launched a new student organization and helped with President Gee’s summer tour.
Chirantan Ekbote, Computer and Information Science; participated in a research program at the Center for Brain Science at Harvard.
Kelly Hartnett, Industrial Design; worked on the Venturi Buckeye Bullet, the world’s fastest electric vehicle.
Kaitlin Kuvin, Flute Performance and Choral Music Education, was one of 10 interns in a new nine-week pilot program in the Office of Development.
Michael Niday, Russian; spent the summer learning Russian from the Russians in Moscow.
Elizabeth Ulm, biology, had a summer internship in the Conservation Department at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
Emily Wong, microbiology/chemistry and Beckman Scholar; worked on her biochemistry research project and attended the Beckman Symposium in Irvine, California.
