James joined the Marketing and Communications team at the College of Arts and Sciences in March 2023 after four years at the Moritz College of Law. James works to advance the mission of ASC through storytelling, highlighting the accomplishments of ASC faculty, staff and students. He also manages the college's e-communications newsletters. Prior to his time at Moritz, he spent four years as a sports writer covering Ohio State athletics. He is a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State University, where he earned a degree in Journalism and was an editor on The Lantern staff. 

James also serves as the head coach of the Ohio State Club Football team, where his teams have won two national championships and four conference championships since 2018.
