Aalyshia Williams collaborates with the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Recruitment in the College of Arts and Sciences to develop and implement strategic recruitment plans for sustaining high quality applications and enrollment of New First Year Students (NFYS) and supporting strategic recruitment and retention plans for prospective and admitted students. Aalyshia helps plan recruitment programs; presents on-campus and virtual academic overviews to prospective students and their families; represents Arts and Sciences at University Admissions sponsored events, table fairs on- and off-campus; participates in in-state and out-of-state travel program and tracks prospective students and create and maintains databases. Aalyshia assists with HS outreach initiatives, including HS on-campus visit programs and provides front-line communication via phones and email to prospective students and families. Aalyshia also manages the Buckeye Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD), a first-year program for first generation students.

The College of Arts and Sciences Office of Undergraduate Recruitment works to promote the college to prospective undergraduate students, while simultaneously supporting the university’s enrollment goals and initiatives. In addition, the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment sustains programs specifically targeted to the recruitment, retention and advancement of campus change and transfer students.
